Ok Ive been with my home broadband provider for 18month and I'm leaving. Phoned them up on the 19th to give my 14 days notice etc and Ive signed with up again with BT (no cable where I live and TBH wish Id never left BT) Anyway since phoning on 19th literally within a couple of hrs my speed on my Fibre BB has dropped to between 1.65 and 3.18mbps at peak times. Ive reset router to factory settings etc and been back on phone to them , they're saying no fault and must be my gear etc. I said youve throttled my speed cause I'm leaving which they say, They havent and cant do that to individual customers? what do you reckon.
