Just installed a new image put the magic files back where they need to be I think. I have a load of channels back up and running but the picture quality is not as good as it was and also the epg is not working.

Im running commando 12 I was running commando 10

Press dbox,settings,video and change the output from CVBS to CVBS-RGB home and red to save settings to alter the picture quality
reboot the box and see if the epg works.

im now using yuv + cbvs that seems to work really well for me as for the epg still no luck

Which area are you, m8. There is currently an issue with EPG crashing randomly in pure ntl, and this is still under investigation.

Which EPG Mode are you using? AL

Which is 6952 symrate, so the sectionsd bug shouldn't affect you. Navigate through the EPG Menu (Blue > Blue > Green by default), and see which one has < ACTIVE alongside it. Highlight it and press OK. This will then restart that EPG Option and you should then get your EPG

I take it you have generated a bouquets file? As until you do, you'll only have the 'Std 24hr VM EPG' option and none of the others.

lol I am so sick of this bloody box right I have a new image installed and working, I had all my channels working, my EPG is now working.

just seem to have only a few channels now guys im giving in lol stupid machine

I bet you've got evocamd AND mgcamd both switched on at the same time, or summat really dopey like that.

Or your area has switched to viagra3, so you're on FTA only?

had a go this morning reinstalled image, reset location, did a scan and then added my boquets and service files and im all back up and running
