I changed out the cmos battery and gave it a once over with the hoover and switch clean. I wont know for a few days if it's done the trick
Well that didn't help it just crashed again and that was after replacing the cmos battery. I'm now thinking about replacing the paste on the processor see if that helps because now I'm lost

Good call here. Had similar happen to my No.2 pc last year. Kept getting the odd BSOD but wasn't overly concerned until it got to the point where it wouldn't boot up at all.Id be checking power supply voltages if not possible borrow a psu from someone or somewhere to try it.
