Blinking red light

Hi I have a spiderbox 9000hd. When I plug it in all I get is a blinking red light on the display at the front. If I plug it into pc with null modem it's not recognized so can't flash it, I have tried replacing power board with one out of a working box but still blinking red light. Does anyone know what it could be/ how to fix or know anyone who repairs boxes

There were a few production changes with the 9000 HD and I believe that the power supply boards differ so the one you tried might not have been compatible with your 9000.
However as you still have the same fault I would try the recovery tool again as in the past some of the 9000's I've restored needed several switch on attempts before the software would transfer.
I have heard that some 9000's displaying a red blinking LED had a "loose" connector on the main board so please check all connectors are fully pushed home. Please make sure the unit is unplugged BEFORE touching any parts inside the Spiderbox.
