ok seriously thinking of modding my console but bit nervous as i dont want to brick it
is there a failsafe or anyway if things go wrong to put back to factory???

any help is much appreciated

Judging by the topic, yours is the black wii, im guessing you know this wont play copied disks unless you either change th pcb on the drive or do a full drive swap out, the only other way is to play games from an hdd, which is better in my opinion anyway

yeah id come across that while reading but to be honest i dont mind that more concerned about bricking it than anything

When you install bootmii with the home brew channel, back up you wii's nand, using an old n64 controller or by pressing certain buttons, google bootmii buttons as i have never used them, this can then be restored to your system if you make any errors, just remember to install the bootmii and also prii loader its fairly simple, if your at a loss i can do it for you at no charge, just shipping, pm me if you need to go down that path mate
