Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

Enjoy!!

DELL BIOS UNLOCK CODE GENERATOR

DELL BIOS PASSWORD UNLOCK

EDIT 2:
Please add rep and/or use the like button if a member takes the time to provide you with a code.
Also...
There is no need to post multiple requests for unlock codes. If a code can be generated someone will hopefully get back to you.
Please be patient;
duplicate posts will now be deleted without notice.

EDIT-----

I've changed the link to this to bit.ly....this is so i can keep track of usage due to my dropbox account being hammered. A quick search on the internet reveals loads of forums with this link lol.

EDIT 5:
The information provided on DW is supplied "as is", free of charge and without warranty or liability.

In line with our "no traders" rule; any member found to be charging for unlock passwords will be banned.

Same problem as everyone else :(
tried the bios link but apparently can't be done on a tablet?

Dell Inspiron 1012
tag:4ffv2m1
error:08205

thank you for your help.

Same error code.

however if it helps. If I go into setup I can login as a user but unable to go farther without the hdd password
but the error there is different:
23130

system error code normally changes after 3 wrong attempts??
however, in order try these for BIOS....passwords are case sensitive
bvzcsr
gtb
7722398

For HDD
I have never seen a successful password given for HDD error code

Ack, followed another link to this forum trying to fix the hdd lock. With all the early posts in the thread about hdd lock I thought it worked on both, sorry about burning some of your time there. However if you give me one more chance here I can probably get this sucker working anyway.

....

Haven't noticed a change in error code no matter the number of attempts.
All 3 ways give a consistent error code.

If I attempt to go into setup(pheonix bios A11) and deliberately fail the password I get
error code: 09545

i guess if I get admin rights to bios instead of user, I figure I could change it to boot off thumb drive and try to fix.

I do appreciate your help.
