Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

Can anybody assist with master password for a Panasonic Toughbook CF19 tried usual batt out but no joy.

at present only Dell and paid service websites can give password for suffix 1D3B

Hello everyone. I`m a new member, because I need some help. I have a DELL Vostro 3500 laptop with locked bios. After 5 days search online for solution how to bring the laptop back to life ended with no luck...
I seen the last request for password was more than a year ago, maybe something comes as solution? Any idea how to boot up? Thanks

I have what looks to be the dreaded Dell 7 digit serial/service tag and the 8 digit password unlock hint code... I am locked out of my BIOS and cannot use my machine which is a Dell Inspiron 17R 7720 SE with Phoenix A18 SecureCore Tiano BIOS. I have attempted to use several online generators and also a few of the downloaded executable generators with no luck. I have read thru many posts and it seems like people with Dell l502x,l702x,n7110,7720,5720 all have this same problem with not being able to get a code that works.


Here are my numbers:
Service Tag: H4H81W1
Current "Password\Unlock Hint" code: 25976DD9 (changes every 3rd attempt)


If someone out there could give me a hand here I would be most appreciative. thanks!

I forgot to add that I also took it apart, removed CMOS battery, and Main battery, power adapter and attempted three different combinations of pin jumps on the Winbond eeprom BIOS chip (..tried these while plugging pwr adapter in and trying to get into BIOS during boot attempts). No luck doing that either.

Hi fellow forum members. This is my first post and am impressed with the help people receive on this forum.

Now down to business and I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help as I have been looking at posts by other members with the same issue.

Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series 7537
Service Tag is CVWC532
Unlock Key Hint Number is 7917D715

A friend of mine picked it up from a police auction for fairly cheap but lost interest in it as soon as he seen that there was a bios password, so he gave it to me. I haven't tried calling Dell yet to see if I can transfer ownership but I believe it will be a little difficult as I don't have proof of purchase and the only receipt I have is the one that my friend got when he purchased it from the auctions.

I'll try here first and see if I get any responses.

Unfortunately, I think you and I are in the same boat here. Mine came from an online auction and the seller happened to be a pawn shop...so yeah basically.. impossible to trace who the original owner was. Through my research, the 7537 model is like mine (7720) with regard to 7 digit alphanumeric Service Tag and 8 digit alphanumeric hint code (which changes every 3rd attempt). None of the online tools or downloadable generators are working. I think we may be at the mercy of those $35 password finder sites. I am just worried about them taking the $ and providing the same numbers that do not work from all the online tools.. Good luck to everyone here who currently have an expensive paper weight. Hopefully, we will find a way to access them soon.
