I HAVE FOUND THAT IF YOU GO TO THE SETTINGS MENU FOR "PICTURE" AND THEN SELECT "r g b" INSTEAD OF THE DEFAULT "COMPOSITE",YOU GET A MUCH CRISPER PICTURE( YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE STB CONNECTED TO THE TV VIA SCART THOUGH).MY AERIAL IS AN 18 ELEMENT THAT HAS BEEN FOLDED IN HALF SO THAT IT FITS UNDER THE COFFEE TABLE IN THE CORNER OF MY FLAT AND I NOW HAVE A VERY CRISP AND CLEAR PICTURE ON ALL CHANNELS!!!

I am not disagreeing with you simbob, but I didn't really notice any difference between the two options.
Has any body else out there tried it, or what do you all use?

see it depends on your tv but i have noticed the difference it seems much smoother on the rbg setting...

thing to consider is id you go the scart route then the macro will kick in ....do it through the rf and bingo no macrovision
