surely u just set your nic card to pick up an ip address from the router's dhcp server
looks like 192.168.2.1 is the router address
so your ip address assigned from the router should be 192.168.2.*
by default the password is blank
so if it has a password then u need to unplug power and press the reset button on the back and hold it for 30 seconds or so to clear the memory
make sure your network card is set to auto in the tcp / ip connections under properties
so open your browser type 192.168.2.1 and it should direct to your router's web interface
any problems then come back to us
i have experienced this router and it is very fiddly and slow when configuring and i dont like the fact the router reboots every time u configure it, i.e port forwarding
your better off with a wrt54g if connecting to a virgin media cable modem, that is very much and play using the power down / up sequence
