Been given a loan of a Spiderbox.

I really like the way they have demystified cardsharing. A simple screen asking for a few details, server address, port number, username and password. Fill in the blanks, click apply and you are up and running within seconds.

Cardsharing was always going to be a stumbing block for newcomers to Satellite, but not any more.

I'm just comparing the E2 dish setup process and comparing it to the Spiderbox, the Enigma 2 method is far more complicated than it needs to be.

One thing I've noticed, don't you think that although it's a closed system, the interface etc has a Linux-esque feel to it? Pressing the menu button and side scrolling through the different options, it just feel so familiar to me.

Do they have any affiliation to DW as there is a link to DW from the eurosky website:banana:

Not that I know of mate. I did see that link to DW and thought it was a little bit cheeky TBH.

But why not? It's a good helpful link, they also offer links to Lyngsat etc.

Plus they did give us a 10% discount on orders for the TM800. :)
