This is what out TV tax (license) pays for. So from now on, anything that would have normally been free via the catchup service on iPlayer, like the xmas specials of a series or something, will now be a PPV event on catchup, and eventually, will be PPV on live TV as well

its the start of BBC pay TV in the UK, but, youll still need a license

Agree, its a back door way to get more money out of us, due to them not being allowed to put license fee up

AFAIK, iplayer content is not available outside of the UK

iplayer for bbc is watchable outside the uk, you need to download expat shield, start the programme, then go to bbc iplayer and it will work
