BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST WALL!!!!!!

the kits that you gave links to are the ones that i have been using.I am using 80 min cdrs but they are all ok when burning cd games, and work 100%.I am even using 99 min cd's! My burner is a Liteon 24X10X40.Thanks for all your help by the way Angel!

so it is possible that the cd copied games will work on 80 min cds, but NOT the dvd ripped ones?

This mod works perfect for compact disc games backed up to cd-r media as well as dvd games backed up to dvd-r media. dvd games ripped to cdr that are over 640mb do not work well.

what do u suggest? I don't really want to solder a chip in.Are there many games that fall in to the under 640 mb category?

The burnout kit that you said seems to be different to the one i was using, so i'm going to try it now. But,it is in German, could you translate for me??

Its not the problem of the games...its the problem of the no solder chip...
Let me find some infos what you can do....at the moment i am out of ideas...lol

1. unzip the burn.zip-patch on C:/,D:/ or E:/
2.now copy the DVD in the same folder, where you unzipped the patch
3. start patch 1 in the same folder
start patch 2 in the same folder
start patch 3 in the same folder
4.do not start the next patch before another patch is not finished
5. when you are ready with all 3 patches...start CDRWIN...go to Extras (tools)
6.write ISO9660 image file on CD
7.iso image file-go to burnout.iso
Write-option
CDROM-XA MODE2
Close/finish session
write postgap

Have fun with ripping

WOW! Thanks for doing it so quick!
Do you know where i can get a rip kit for "State of Emergency"
"Metal gear solid 2" and "Sky Odyssey"? all PAL versions.
I bet you are beginning to regret ever answering that first post of mine now!!! LOL

lol...i did nothing find...maybe they do not need a rip kit...

http://www.lnqs.com/playstation2page/
http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_guides_rip.shtml

i did use this websites...i had more but did never save them in my i.e. favourites.

I will see if i find out somethings about this games.

State of Emergency should be no problem without a rip kit.

Sky odyssey..theres a us version but you can patch it for PAL.
http://www.megagames.com/console/cgi-bin/dlps2.cgi?How_To_Rip_Sky_Odyssey!zip

Metal gear solid 2: its waaay too big
its a 4 gig game...taking out all the movies means taking out the game...same for final fantasy X

Its better for DVD-R. And it would be easier..you can copy them 1:1.

Hope it did help a bit...have fun...

Translators are sometimes really crap...they always pick the wrong translation from a word i wanted to know.
This intruction had some important things in it...i dunno if he had understood it, after using translator. I did already write it with all changes.
I can give you so much translators..they all are crap...sometimes for a quick translation is it ok. Then i know most of the time ..what the translator did not translate right. And i understand the real sense. But best thing is still the "Dictionary" for me. (very good translations)...that can beat every f..cking translator in the world wide web.

Sorry for my bad language...great book...isnt it...rofl...
