attempting to do eurovox

i have read this tut Take power cord out of the Eurovox.
Connect your Eurovox to your Computer using 'Null Modem' Cable.
Plug the power cord back into the Eurovox and put it into standby.
Extract the firmware folder.

Open the .exe file within the extracteed folder.
Click the Upload button to save your current channel data.
Select a place to store your channel data and click Save.

Once this process is complete, you should hit the download button in the center of the window - This process should take around 150 seconds (2-3 minutes)
After this is complete, click the Download button on the channel data section.
This will quickly put all of your channels back onto the box.
Now you should pull the power cord from the box.
Disconnect your computer from the Eurovox

Reconnect the Power Cord into the Eurovox.
Press the Power button on the remote or box itself.

the thing im worried about is Extract the firmware folder.how is this done as i have downloaded the fix but it has download upload and browse do i click on browse to find firmware folder and what do i put in the firmware folder i very worried about busting my eurovox by the way i have a eurovox max v 2008 please help a newbie

once the cables are connected to the pc and the eurovox and you put the power back on the eurovox all you do m8 is click the top download button in the fix the filmware is all ready in it it takes 2 to 3 min to do it

Hi Mate,

Press the BIG download button for the firmware.

Wait until it says download complete.

the browse option is if you have saved a previous channel dump.

once you have identified your channel file.
if you press edit then you can alter your channels using the channel editor.
