assuming its a clone??

just had a call of a mate who i flashed a eurovox blue for and he is saying the screen is just blue and on the lcd it reads 4A00. having read quite a few of the other posts of people killing clone boxes can i asume that this is a clone box also? any help greatly appreciated.
also i could have swore i saw some updated software for the clone blues. am i right?

i did read that mate but it is not the same error message as that, thats why i was asking. slightly patronising reply.
anyway not a problem to be patient and wait im cool with that.
just curious but when i originally flashed it april i did not use clone software and it worked ok then. does that mean anything or am i just thinking too much?
