The Ali Editor software is not the best experience to use, it does work but it can make things harder work than it really need be. I would advise using the receivers built in editor, it works great and gives you all the options you need including organising the channels themselves but also renaming the default favourite categories.
The young lady that creates the channel lists for us for various Amiko models only uses the built in editor, if you've not used it before it will probably take 5mins to get your head around but once you have it's very easy to use and keep your list up to date as you wish.
Once you've created your list you can back up to USB in literally seconds. It will backup both firmware and channel list in one - but not any entered share details which is important if you are sharing the list with others! If you or anyone else comes to load your backup firmware it's best to make sure you use SW+Bootloader as the update method, this way it ensures a complete update and should not generally cause any issues with mismatched firmware and bootloader types (which can happen if you choose software only for example but the bootloader is from another version of updates).
