amd tl50 or intel 2 core duo t5500

Please give your honest opinions still have not got my new PC and now the mrs wants me to get a laptop instead. Less room...

Would you go for the AMD TL-50 or intel 2 core duo T5500 both 64 bit..

I have only ever owned AMD computers so i am unsure but core 2 duo has good reviews anybody used these or using some advice would be nice..
