hi guys a m8 give me ambit200 and it nether been online i have try to flash it
but when i what to press p it keep coming up with this

Hi John, sound's like your trying to use a max232 lead i guess ? you might have much better luck if you jtag it m8.

hi yes i am useing max232 m8 no got a jtag is the no other way of doing then jtag m8

you can make a jtag to do the 200s very easy indeed m8 with just a bit of phone cable and a DB25 pin printer plug if you can solder then it only take's minutes to knock toghter.

Have a read of the latest 2008 AMBIT 200 in the downloads section m8 that explains how to do it with a max232 but you have to have the P option only other way around it is to make a jtag and use part 3 of the 2008 tut and jtag it.

look on the chip inside on the mobo and see if it has 29lv160btc... if yes to 29lv160btc u can only use original A200 f/w... if it has 1 of these chips 29lv160 (abtc bbtc or cbtc) then u can use sigma on it

yep its good to go... get ur blackcat ready and flash it using 2008 ambit 200 new files and u should be ok

Hi John, You can easy make one from this pic m8.

It's Inverted for use on top of the modem's board as you will see in the 2008 guide it show's you dont have to do much soldering just join to small point's and blackcat thats about it m8 if you would prefer to buy one there is a good bunch out there that make them cheap.

I'm not to well at the minute got kidney trouble other wise i would knock one toghter for ya m8 mrs has to type as i speak for now. oc:
