hi guys,

ive recently bought an ibm laptop, and am planning on getting a wireless network card. since im going to be doing a lot travelling i would like to be able to connect to the internet on the go, this would be handy when experiencing airport flight delays, to be able to send emails and so on.
The thing is i aint got a clue on how to this? would i need to use my mobile for a dial up internet connection or is there a better method ive noticed some people seem to be connected in the airports without a mobile phone in sight!!!!!!!!

Please help Anyone

Thanks bigga.

the airport in question most likly has a hot spot inthernet area serviced by a wireless connection but i think you have to pay for thr privelage

o.k so is there another way then?
or is dial up via infra red on mobile has i said above?

bigga.

i think pinkhelmets used to access via mobile at about 9k

Both right, I have used wireless at the airport, you do have to pay about £5/ hr if I remember and I have seen bluetooth connections to laptops
