Advise on updating evocamd anyone?

Hi i wonder if anyone can help, would like to update my evocamd to the latest evocamd nextlevel 101, im using sportster 17+uk05 which is very stable for me but have seen mentiond the faster channel clearing and better pic quality in the latest evocamd. how is this done?

Download the evocamd nextlevel 101 files from the sportster website:
http://sportster.ump2002.net/downloads.php?catID=7

Open up the RAR file and it will have a folder in it, named VAR-EMU.
Extract the EVOCAMD file (not the readme file) to your desktop. Now transfer this file to the box via FTP... remembering to set it to CHMOD755.

Oh yeah and hard reset the box (not shutdown) after you've installed the file. You can do this by either pulling the plug and putting it back in again or by holding the UP and STANDBY buttons on the front of the box until it resets.

is the right place to transfer to var/bin/emu and do i need to kill the old evocamd?

It depends on the image.... sometimes the emu files are placed in /var/emu and sometimes in /var/bin/emu. If you dont have /var/emu then try the other folder. Oh and yes you will need to kill the evocamd first - which you do by telnet
