We need to stop calling them "Asylum seekers" and start calling them "illegal immigrants".
If you land here via plane train or ferry without any form of ID your illegally here.
I'd simply bang them in purpose built tent villages up on the moors patrolled by the army. They'd change their minds around December
 
I wonder why they can't just use a simple lie detector setup and ask each one as they come off the boats if they really are fleeing in fear of their lives or from torture? If they say yes and they pass that then give them asylum the same day, if not then put them in a secure detention centre until they agree to go back to their own country.

Lawyers for the Charity Care4Calais stopped 20 illegals from boarding the barge today. Look at their ties to Labour and then say Labour has nothing to do with it.

"This weekend it emerged that lawyer Jacqueline McKenzie, who is helping Sir Keir Starmer draw up his party's manifesto, is working with Care4Calais to challenge Home Office plans to deport migrants to Rwanda.

Ms McKenzie is a member of Labour's Race Equality Taskforce and is listed as a director of Detention Action.

Labour activists are also involved with Care4Calais, including Susan Jex - a member of the charity's board - who stood for Labour in 2021."
 
Well if they don't want the illegal immigrants (their not asylum seekers) to enter the boat then I suggest they pay their hotel fees or put them up in their second home.
As tax payers we should have the opportunity to opt out
 
The Government are going to go after the dodgy lawyers now acting for the illegals with no real case in return for bribe money. Labour say's they are just trying to deflect from the immigrant problem.
The low-life lawyer scum should be ignored then???

The point to that is, there's always a squadron of do-gooders who think these (mainly) Albanians are escaping persecution when their actually escaping jail for crimes they commited in their homeland.

I was thinking the other day that as the Australians and Greeks are able to turn the boats around, the Americans detain any illegal immigrant in detention centres, the Hungarian simply refuse to allow anyone to get over or through the fence they put up, The Poles are going to have a referendum on accepting them or not and the Saudis simply shoot their illegal immigrants before they cross their borders, then surely we must be able to use one or all of their solutions to solve the problem at our border, maybe the Saudis method is a little extreme, but it seems to be the easiest, the most effective and cheapest option of them all. As once the first few hundred have been shot dead then the people smugglers will tell them to go to a different country and the Saudis do not have to house or feed them, build fences or detention centres, use hotels or barges or employ border force and coast guards to either ferry them across the channel or turn the boats back.
 
What I cannot comprehend is whenever the coastguard, immigration, navy or whoever else "rescues" these migrants they are brought to England...........................Why ? they have no association with England, but they do have an association to France so the only place they should be heading is back to France.

I think once they're in English waters they become the responsibility of the UK :(

I see it as it is, why travel all the way across Europe travelling through "Safe countries" then risk your life to cross the channel in a boat ?? ask yourself.
I'll tell you why, because those countries they travelled through don't give them hand outs by the fistful health benefits housing money mobile phones you name it they get it. Lots are Albanians some giving the eagle 2 handed symbol once they land.

These are not asylum seekers these are illegal immigrants. I would get the coastguard to tow them safely back to France.
800 landed the other day if we said 3000 a week that 150,000
It's costing us £6million a day projected figures for next year is £10million a day.

There are companies making alot of money from this and are openly encouraging them to keep coming.

Problem is France will argue that they could have come from Belgium/ Holland or northern Germany :(
Saying that though, it's all Europe so and that's where they've come from. :)

In that case it should be up to the French to discover where they came from and then send them back to there.
