hi ppl ,<br />ive been using mosc on an update monthly basis for myself, and for my parents using my pheonix s-mouse programmer, ive been doing this for about 6-7 months with no ecms and no problems at all (dmbg2 and kevlar etc on gold cards gave me nothing but problems, *ecm victim on those*)<br />now ive ran into a problem, my programmer has packed in and will no longer work in 3.5mhz mode, ive tried changing the comm port settings and various other things but i cont get it to work, now im stuck with a kevlar 1.61 gold card which is no fun at all getting ecmd 3 - 4 times a night, and my parents have nothing, i have 4 mosc cards, <br />Thanks in advance,<br />mark

Why do you need to update your mosc monthly?

You would only need to do this to include ppv.

If you have a minumum subscription your mosc(s) will run while you are subscribing without any monthly intervention (no ppv).

It has been suggested mosc for regular viewing and gold card for ppv.

Although sticking just to mosc is the only sure way to avoid ecm problems.
