Hi, car is still under warranty and over the weekend my daughter tried to lower the sun visor. The mirror cover fell off - the plastic connector had broken. On visiting Vauxhall today we have been told it is not covered by the warranty and will cost £98 + vat to repair. Anyone else had a similar problem? Surely it should be suitable for use and be able to be lowered or raised without falling off!

Moral of the story: Tell as many people as you can (good start here) and never buy another Vauxhall. Once word gets around they might change their tune.
A customer of mine works for a small independent car hire company. He saw my Hyundai & remarked that this is the only brand they deal with now. Take a Ford back with a dodgy clutch, they argue that it's wear & tear or bad driving- and charge limbs. Hyundai- just pop it up on the ramp, no argument & the car's back on the road the same afternoon.
