i'm in the hertfordshire area and just done a broadband test

here are my results

Download Speed: 13062 kbps (1632.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 734 kbps (91.8 KB/sec transfer rate)


thats on the 10 meg so i guess 20 meg is here in herts

bit shitty on the download speed me thinks

go to http://192.168.100.1 (root/root) and then click on operation configuration (left hand side) and see what it says beside

Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 20480000 bps <--- 20Mb

cmreg-ntlhm120-bund03.cm so i can't tell if its done or not

ur getting 20mb config file upload anyway i dont ntl has the 10mb bussiness config file yet. did u reboot ur modem then do a speed test

same here in basildon on a 20 mb config
it better then the 10 mb but seen as though i get capped if i downlaod 2 much its crap

best speed result ive had all day is this

1st 512K took 359 ms = 1426.2 KB/sec, approx 11752 Kbps, 11.48 Mbps
2nd 512K took 313 ms = 1635.8 KB/sec, approx 13479 Kbps, 13.16 Mbps
3rd 512K took 312 ms = 1641 KB/sec, approx 13522 Kbps, 13.21 Mbps
4th 512K took 313 ms = 1635.8 KB/sec, approx 13479 Kbps, 13.16 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 13058 Kbps, 12.75 Mbps

im hitting 13 mb on usenet

well u guys r differnately on 20mb ur area what speed do u guys get from microsoft.com... ur area probably still needs more upgrading to increase the speed ...any1 with a subbed should call and complaint that ur not getting ur max speed so they can start works on ur area networks

on what m8 if its about infinite page from 192 168 100 1 then its

user = Infinite
password = SetValue

if its telneting the modem then

user = admin
password = infinite

well for those who are not subbed,its a good job your not paying for it as i would be pretty pissed off by now,paying for 20 meg and not actually getting it,so i'm just pretty pleased getting 10 meg and its good for ya downloads and tings like that

Maximum Upload Speed 768000 bps looks like a 20 meg reading to me
