I have one of these lucrative devices.

When it is hooked up to my dish I get extra channels on 28.2E, it acts like a signal booster!! E.G. Movies for men/Motors TV to name a few.
With this in mind i fitted it indoors next to the TV (keep it out of any rain). I notice that when watching certain frequencies I have a red light on (H/V) and on others a green light on (22Khz)...why?

Depending on the LNB type 22khz is used to switch from 9.75 GHz to 10.6 GHz.

Strange this acts like a signal booster though you would normally loose gain splitting a feed.

It's an inline amp or attenuator.
