i think BT have got the extra games that ESPN had.

Bt have bought the footie rights espn used to have so espn are buggering off and bt are taking their place. Remember how setanta uk ceased and espn took over? It'll be the same so I reckon it'll still be a tenner extra a month.

What about the scottish games lads?

As well as the rights to show 38 live games a season from the Barclays Premier League, including 18 of the top picks, BT Sport has also secured the rights to live top-tier matches from Serie A in Italy, Ligue 1 in France, Brasileiro in Brazil and Major League Soccer in the USA.

And BT's acquisition of ESPN's TV channels business in the UK and Ireland will bring the rights to show live games for the FA Cup, Scottish Premier League, Europa League and the German Bundesliga.
BT Sport will also show up to 69 live rugby union games a season from the Aviva Premiership.

just to chip in . sly have taken 2 x transponders..
infact they are ALREADY showing on the sly EPG
and if you look on Kos site the frq are there under BT Sport.

from what i have read bt will be doing there own sudscription service like setanta did .
so unlike espn where you had to have a sky sub then pay the extra to sky on your bill bt will even put the sub on a freesat from sky card and a direct debit to bt same as setanta did .
this means that sky will not advertise the service on there sports channels like they did for espn .
as far as what i have read there will be no more espn channels on sky and bt will be nroadcasting whatever espn did and more and the bt sports package will be available on all versions as well like freeview youview and virgin .

All say "BT sport is coming soon"

On bt site it says Espn is joining them I bet the price goes up or they will want you to take other bt channels

For the 2013/14 season

Sky Sports - 116 live games (packages B, C, D, E and F)
BT Sport - 38 live games (packages A and G)
Setanta - 33 live games

The majority of the BT games will comprise of fixtures at 12.45 on Saturdays, mid-week and bank holidays matches.

BSkyB will have the matches on Monday nights, Sunday 1.30pm and 4pm. BSkyB has actually secured one more game per season overall for the 2013/2014 season. Overall the level of investment in the Premier League rights is £1.2bn over the amount paid by Sky and ESPN for 2010/2013.

Setanta will have 3PM Saturday games

I find ESPN good for the rugby also find that Al Jazerra tend to use the espn feed when they show rugby

i was reading my latest "wot sat mag" and it says a argument has broken out between BT and SLY,
it seems SLY wont now allow BT to show trailers on there transponder!!!
hence all there is right now is the logos.....

if you catch it at the right time thay are testing with some programs now just to see what its like I set the timer to record

yep read this a while back and mentioned it in my earlier post sly will not let bt advertise there sports package on there sports channels
i think bt are taking sly to ofcom again something to do with the package prices they sell to other service providers sly had to lower the price but apparently the have not honoured it or somethoing along those lines.
there is now a web address up and running and quite a few sports listed
and the sport channels will be free if you have bt broadband or £12 a month if you don't
unlike espn you do not need a sly sports sub just a viewing card
did not read anything about adding to virgin or youview though
