I wouldn't let pcworld touch any of my stuff.
When I bought Goldies touch screen monitor they tried to tell me that the touchscreen wouldn't work with vista and that you had to have win7 installed.
I wouldn't trust them to format a usb stick.

Maybe you local store doesn't hire from the bottom of the gene pool like mine does.

Thanks ellie that vote of confidence has cheered me up no end. Ffs

Trying to save you grief later.
They will most probably saay it needs a format and reinstall.

You would be better off removing it yourself.
I'm just being honest with you so your not disappointed later.

Aah, PC World....

...land of muppets!

Ooops, sure all will be well.....

I think they call them "Tech Guys" don't they ;)

If there was every a contradiction in terms, I'm yet to see anyone of the PC World sales and support staff that know anything technical. I have to bite my tongue sometimes when I'm wandering around (there are certain things in PC world that cost the same no matter where), plus I generally just go to have a play.

To be honest guys I have never really had a problem using these guys. My dog was sick on my keyboard a few years back they replaced the keyboard and everything was fine after that. In the meantime I am using my daughters pretty pink computer. Lovely :)

Curiously, they believe they know things?

Times like these when I would just do a complete rebuild of the OS.
Save all your data and format. Nowadays you will spend ages trying to get rid of malware/trojons etc.
