Correct me if I'm wrong, but several months ago didnt Phantom post a thread here requesting a list of on going problems?
So whatever happened to his apparent goodwill in posting that thread - when ALL the reported problems are still there with NO action by either Phantom (or even a reply?) OR Technomate themselves?
Their download centre seems to be just as bad, there have been NUMEROUS informative requests by most of us on that site too, yet now they have the barefaced CHEEK to both say its no longer WORTH issuing patches to do what we have requested plus they also actually insult us with their few responses to make us appear to be total losers and idiots - they 'invent' points THEY raise, e.g. we dont mention the actual models we refer to when requesting a UNIVERSAL patch to enable C Ned 19E to open with latest softcams - yet totally ignoring the fact that we are requesting patches for their whole tange, mine being a TM6900HD Super, so COME ON TECHNOMATE/Phantom, we are NOT all total idiots or dunces, its YOU who are all of that?
Technomate are in cloud cuckoo land - AND in total denial, giving the impression that we dont have any outstanding problems at all!:Mad2:

I have given up on any support of technomate or Phantom and will NEVER buy a technomate again.
Bought a Vu+ lots of support any question you have is answerd within 24 hr might not always be the answer you wanted but it is answert
Not like Phantom where you never get any reply to requests or questions don't get me wrong the tm's with lan port are not bad boxes but
the support is to useless

Good support for Technomate receivers have gone down hill for some time now. Problems still exist with 6000 super series, Linux TM600/500 and even the current TM5402 which doesn't work as well when compared to Blade Media 7000.

I don't think I will buy another TM product again.

I agree, but its NOT the Technomate product I am up in arms about, having experienced Echostar, Manhattan and others I feel my TM6900HD Super is possibly the best yet - but its the current lack of support and the apparent complacency and self denial we are now getting churned out repeatedly on their Download Centre which REALLY pi**es me off - who do they think they are these zombies who reply with such rubbish - and NOT listen to what we (the actual USERS) have to say?
Even a statement to say that, for whatever reason, they simply cant DO these modifications, would be better than nothing, but to turn it on US by saying that there arent any probs is SO totally not acceptable!:Jester:

these patches are a "give & take". At least they are not called 'Gifts' like some of us can recall in some dark past...
CNL 19E was a let down. I must 100% agree on that.
But as Irdeto is going away prob at the end of this month it will be of no longer use.

It is like I mentioned before on another thread. EMU is getting "oldschool". We should focus on
the other cool stuff like extra network functionallity, maybe USB-Smartcard reader support , etc ...

If you own a TM without the patches You must agree they work very good with a lot of SUBS and in speed performs and zaps
much faster than other models on the market.(but to be honest it is already happening ....)

Anyway, I can understand why people are not happy and I respect their point of view as well.

If TM doesn't come up with something new refreshed idea they will loose their share in the market !

Well I can see where you are coming from mate, but just say C Ned DIDNT go at the end of the month, we are still in the same position as we were well over a year ago when we first started to request better patches etc to incorporate a mixture of C Ned 19E, TNT and Zee TV 13E, all of which were showing up on the softcams, yet the very people they were probably intended for (we TM users!) could not get anything out of it - and THAT'S the whole point the way I see it, as TM have virtually ignored our pleas for help, they even REQUESTED them in that thread by Phantom all that time ago!
PS: I am surprised you say the TM5402HD has had these probs sorted out, as several people on here have been saying otherwise, but maybe I've misunderstood mate?:Hit::Cry:

Not being able to see what ECM info the Technomate actually sends to the CI slot (or to SSSP RS232 port for that matter), I can't be sure, but is it not possible to have Bulsat & Canal Digitaal NL by using either Fausto v1.45 on PC connected to SSSP via RS232 cable or by using a Diablo CAM, instead of having to change softcam's on your technomate depending which Irdeto2 (0604 or 0622) you want?

But yes of course the Technomate patch+softcam should have been able to do this anyway without having to resort to additional software (Fausto) or hardware (Diablo CAM).

Well as Wolftje mentioned the old fashion way has now gone. It is an era where cs will be predominent I guess. Small private networks or payserver providers. Whatever your choice.
However as a TM5402 user I have been very happy with my TM. CCCam is very stable and my Biss sub is working wonders too.
But I must say that the total lack of support will bring me to look for other options than TM as I am currently looking for a second receiver.

and yes y'r right, zee tv and Bulsat have been missing ! Yeah well, TM/PHANTOM should really read this topic.

If you are referring to spiderbox, the gift still works on new stb's and everyone who had older stb's got at least 12 months gift.

The difference is the spiderbox still does what it's meant to, softcams work and open whats meant to be open.

the dutch channels never opened on any of the 02 series(5402+6902+7102) or on any of the newer patches on the 6000+7000 super series
i bought a 6902 and the patches are lacking the support compared to the 5402 that seems to get more updates then any model at the moment
i have the 7100 wich is lacking support too asked loads of time if it's possible to set tuner 2 as the main recording tuner so the tm doesn't switch channel when a recording starts and you can stay watching what you want to watch at that time never any answer.
also the filtermenu does this work or not asked many times in download center or forums never any answer.
and i could go on for an other while but i leave it by this for now.

With my TM7100HD, I can't open TNTSat on Astra 19°east, only HD channels are clear, the SD channels are "freezing" often.
When I try to use VplugServer (witn ethernet connection) to open this package, the ECM are too long and not supported by the included version of cccam in the patch!

Canal Digitaal is not open with the patch but work fine with VplugServer.

However I cannot agree with anything you've said here, since as already stated over and over again here, C Ned 19E has not opened alongside softcams since patch no 737P, so how can this be right that 738P to 742P do NOT open it, yet you seem to be claiming that it does!
Please address our concerns - preferably BEFORE C Ned Irdeto 2 finally goes!:nopity:

Its very interesting what we can find here Zorch, because as well as YOUR query above, the latest TM6900HD Super latest patch stops at 741P (and not 742P which most of us are probably using?) - so whats going on, doesnt the TM left hand know what the TM right hand is doing?
I'm sorry, but I really find all this incomprehensible, when we are discussing an allegedly large modern company like Technomate?

I need to know which channel in which TP/satellite or how many open and which one not open in the same TP

I have tested the TP's in question for the last half hour with TM 5400 CI+ USB together with the latest Phantompatch 1.88p (Feb 07 2012) ...but sadly it's not working for me...

Has anyone else tested this...?
