Are you running Oscam + Mgcamd or Oscam + Cccam on a Dm-500/600 for server, are you getting glitching on some main channels?

The channels reported glitching on the technomate are :

Slowcase
Sly one
Living
Atlantic

If your not getting any glitching, i would appreciate if you let the thread know.

That way use over in the technomate section can be sure it's infact the technomate box.

Thanks,

Thank you mates,

That about clears it up for me, two trustable regular members both reporting no glitching/picture breakup on the DM running as a server.

Looks like it's the technomate boxes,

Hi mate, im getting glitches on Atlantic ( i'll test the other channels when I get home)

DM500s (original) running OSCAM + CCcam, I have 2 other Dreamboxes 500s (clones), all 3 boxes glitch on atlantic! Its not a quick glitch, the video and audio pauses for like 3sec or so, randomly.

What image are you running on your server / clients?

I can watch most channels without an issue, strange.

Also I use an N: line to connect to Oscam..

OSCAM 1.10rc-svn build #5775 and CCcam 2.1.4, ecmwhitelist enabled.

Server is running gemini and clients commando 14.3.

If u can test using a C: line to a reliable remote server, this should confirm if its a box or Oscam issue..

No problems reported on above metioned channels using Eagle box as Oscam+CCcam server and technomate 600/Vu duo as CCcam clients.

I was getting terrible glitching of a mate on here who sorted me a test line running of a TM600, Then I got another test line of someone else, theres was as smooth as a babyies bum no glitching probs at all.

Hit and miss I suppose find a good server, although its probably best to run ya own if you have a large family )

Hello narz, the problem is starting from your server, fix the glitching picture audio freeze on the server, and that should fix the picture audio freeze on the clients.

Hi I think my problem was slightly different on the dm500.

I noticed Sky Atlantic has at least 2 different frequencies. I tried the second frequency which seems to be glitch free so far, both on server and client!

I would be interested if anyone knows why the same channel has different frequencies?? do they cover different areas / lnb angles?

Sky Atlantic
freq 11469 H / symbol 27500 sid 4714 tsid 2401 nid 2 type 1

The above one had glitching problems for me.

Sky Atlantic
freq 11469 H / symbol 27500 sid 4714 tsid 2401 nid 2 type 1

This one is ok so far, will report back after further testing.

I would be interested to see which fequency other people are using for Atlantic?...

(second transponder above was meant to be 12285)

little update.. I found depending on the image im running, different transponders work better with out glitching.

I was running Gemini 4.6 on DM500, this worked best for atlantic

Sky Atlantic - freq 12285 H / symbol 27500

I than flashed it with commando 14.3 and the above frequency was glitching again! ..

This worked better for this image:
Sky Atlantic (irish variant?) - freq 11469 H / symbol 27500

.......but why! :Mad2:

Maybe fes can help you out mate, he's not getting any glitching, if you find out what image he's using etc etc you can try mirroring the working setup, although, he might be using a clone as server.

im using a small thin client as server

used to use a dm500s clone still no glitching

pli jade 3 maxvar image with cccam 2.1.4 or mgcamd1.35a clients
