just tried 17 reboot loop on skin from flash.
going to try 16 if that don't work then will put on my old image and wait.
I see 18 is up but as a test image.

16, 17 and 18 all fail to boot, straight to green screen with skin errors.
what a joke, and tm wonder why they get so much stick.
I await dr linux's magic fix for this as i'm sure it will be the way I flashed it that made it go wrong.
Put dw 08/03 and boots up fine.

Wonder if it's the same issue we faced with the last image where having pin defined on the box causes green screen. If it is the same the you would need to update the defaultskim.XML file or try without any pin(pwd) on the root user.

You can play multi-media files from the movie list. Try loading a few MP3 files.

It doesn't even boot for me.
Has anyone else tried, I never have a password set the new images maybe looking for one ?
I think the passwords are a waste of space and cause nothing but trouble, good for traders to screw their clients over but not much else.
They havn't bothered to put in your fixes like they never put in my network stuff, UR do not listen and do not want to listen.
@witchy/rodbuoy (whichever one of the dr lot you are) he is saying when the source is updated there will be a dw image.
Anyway bored of this now, going to watch stargate universe via my tv and dlna software on the pc, I bought the tm800hd to play my films but looks like I got my hopes up again over another wasted promise (I should know better by now

i was typing it off a phone, while i shouldnt have been lol
ive not tried ANY of the 4 (yes 4) images uploaded to the download center, but, going by the times / dates, theyre being uploaded from tomorrow somewhere
they are supposed to have G-streamer fixed, which should mean that the media side of the image is fully functional
thats what it should mean
the source has not yet been updated to reflect any changes in these images, and untill it is, there wont be a DW release

ok, just had a quick play, and it fired up and went through the wizard with no problems
MP3s all play fine
avi files play the audio, but i had ablack screen
im going to add a few more files to my SD card and see what else itll do

if someone wants to make a package containing a small smaple file of each file type its supposed to play, ill test them all out later tonight

Yep applied 17 and it boots fine.
Crashed on first AVI file, green screen.
Second AVI, crashed, green screen. I guess safe to day that AVI is not supported
Recorded file play still got same skipping the last 30 seconds cuts off issue and first FF skip is 50 seconds!

Yes, I have got the pwd on.
Btw, I am DMConcinnity-HD skin.
It could well be skin issue itself, the one you are using, which may not be compatible. Perhaps crashlog will help us, if you are able to post it.
Same problem, its looking for 'buttonRed'. Copy the attached file in /usr/share/enigma2
Even though its rebooting, it should allow you to ftp it and as soon you copy it, it will stop rebooting.

just tried 18 from 08/03 image crashed and no crashlog ?
will try 08-03 with default skin (DMConcinnity-HD) see if I can update from that, that skin looks terrible on my tv and can't read the writing on the buttons..
I had 08-03 with brushed ali when I just tried 18.

i had no issues withskin crashes after flashing, but i had previously applied fixes before flashing
they REALLY need to sort out a proper factory reset for this receiver, as i think only changes are overwritten during flashing
