hi, ive just tried to login to the spiderbox forum and although ive sold my 9000hd i like to keep up with developments incase i can help somebody and got this message. " you have been banned for the following reason"

i now have a 4 month old spiderbox being unused and am getting better results from a £60 clone

date ban will be lifted.. never

I'm not on that forum myself but must be like that other place. (same people etc).

You have always given great advice and have been very objective in my opinion.

But they can't take any critisism at all, can they?

Mate wouldnt lose sleep over it. The contribution you make on this and other forums is top notch and its their loss.

I actually frequent that site quite a bit and find some of the guys excellent to deal with and really helpful - others l simply ignore as they are rude, arrogant and as much use as a hole in a parachute.

I actually really like the spider but have to confess i am not a huge user and never purchased it for the gift - just a new toy really but its served me really well for football.

forget it about mate there are plenty other forums who will allow you freedom of speech.

I got banned 6 times on there for just asking a question.when i caught the member of staff out i tried to login and id been banned from spiderbox website & A**Shit.I then called da**man a F****ng caveman & he called me a racist.WOW...Gotta love em.I can believe the attitute on there sometimes.Someone new on there could ask a nice question and they will get slapped down rudely.makes you just want to find the geeza and punch him in the mouth.Anyway as said,dont sweat it.This site more than gives you the help and freedom that should be allowed.Thanks DW for letting me be here!!

I was banned from that forum permanently about a year ago with no explanation as to why. I've never bothered signing up again, there's nothing there that I can't find or talk about elsewhere.

Your better off sticking to forums where freedom of speech exists.

Spiderbox forum is for Spiderbox owners only as i know..
You should have give your Spiderbox ID.

@mdt it sounds like a forum that does not like criticism. Luckily you can see both sides of the coin here without receiving abuse from what appears to be a bunch of small minded arseholes.

i have had my ban lifted now as a well known member of the sat/cab forums has had a word with them. as i said i have sold my spiderbox but like to keep a eye on developments. i wont recommend there forums anymore or there equipment to people when asked by people to install sat systems by friends/collegues ect. dm needs to replace some of his admin/mods imo, regards mdt

Your right about that mate!!
also if he spent as much time fixing the problems as he dose sticking up for his box's and calling people liars , then life would be good for them!!!
I'm sure it would be easier just the fix the bloody thing!
but i think they can't fix it , or it would of being done!!

I agree with everything that's written above. They slammed the door on my face trying to help others with problems using the capacitys of this box.
They said A... but never said B. I tried to say B.
As for me, the stb is very good, and in the past, I made grate publicity amongst my sat-loving friends for the forum and D...M.. Now I'm sure, this will never happen again.

that place has always been a minefield, I got heavy PM from staff/members there saying my post got amended or deleted but even I simply voiced my opinions alot soon as I said anything remotely good about spiderbox I got offers for free access to servers !

I see now there offering this service +, is this because gift is expiring for most ?.... hopefully they can transfer all the working/stable stuff so its free for all customers and make it all work.

If I had to do it again I would have just got a cheap box thats ccam compatible with majority of servers and just been done with it and avoid the spiderbox headache....

As it stands theres now other options available ill have to catch up on the sat/cable scene !

If they fixed the cccam problems I would get a spider again for the second room. Its a nice box with good picture but the disconnecting was doing my head in.
