it was in with some mayoral records i have came across vol 1 to 3 from 1958-59
full of photo's invites and news paper cuttings.

actually with having all the records it makes for some good reading and interesting apparently she was the first woman mayor in 123 years and became mayor on the 6th february 1958 the exact day man united's air crash.

lol just wondering if i should get in touch with the national archives of stockport as i have some really good history here ive got 3 volumes and an album and their full of telegrams news paper articles and photos following the mayor from 1958 to 1959.
