ambit255 problem?

i ave a ambit 255 but when i connect it via a serial max cable and use hyperterminal i dont get the p option on it.the release date on it is 2007.is there anything i can do.modem lights all work as normal.cheers

May be wrong ,

But I think the bootloader has been updated , hence no "p" option .

up to know its chip out and reflash it .

Dont think it will work mate, softtag uses telnet which you cannot access via the original firmware, the only way to fix this is by reprogramming the chip ! ! !
