I have two dboxes and one work fine on it own no jumping etc however I have another one that will not pick up any channels unless a signal booster is installed.

Any Ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Both boxes set up exactly the same and are identical

The boxes are simply different.
For instance for the nokia boxes there a 5 hardware revisions known.

Stew- you could always have a very close look at the Antenna female co-ax socket on the back of the iffy box. Carefully give it a general 'tighten-up' on the central pin tube and also the bars of the gripper cage inside the socket, so that the male co-ax plug pushes into it more firmly.

This brought the BER on my nokia testbox down from a heady 260,000+ to between 0 and 100 !! Cheers- AL
