Updating config files is one thing.
Running ABM (scanning) is another.
Just run ABM (scan). No need to update config files.

I can't scan as I get a tuner c error message. When I had this before updating config files fixed it. But I get the incompatible error when I try to update config files now
If you updated them before, they should already be up to date.
If you have accidently reverted/re-installed an older version, post 6 has all the files. The provider files go in
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers

Thank you for the reply ferret. To be honest i have messed up my files on dcc and abm no longer shows up on the list. I need to reinstall it and need a ipk file to manually install because the plugins downloads dont show up on my zgemma h2 anymore. I am not bothered about the sound issues i just need to get my boquets back.

I have autobouquetsmaker 2.6 runing on BlackHole 3.0.2 on a DM800.
I am trying to upgrade to autobouquetsmaker 2.9. so that I can update my channels.
I have tried several ipk files but I keep on getting the following message.

Reckon it down to the image your running been a doctored version from another receiver hence the incompatible architecture
Thank you , Is there a work around for this? If v2.4 and v2.6 work ok there may be v2.9 around that will work
Really dont know mate id never run those doctored images.
Unpack ipk using 7zip and transfer to receiver. Reader file needs 755 properties

just update your image and ABM will be new version via the box not a reflash and all should be good
Thank you, could I just check one thing with you please. I think my problem is the ipk files that have worked ok for me (abm 2.4 & 2.6) are MIPS and the 2.9 versions that fail are MIPS32EL. Could that be where the incompatible architecture comes from ? If that is true, wouldn't I get the same problem unpacking and transfering to the receiver? even if I knew how to do it. Is there such a thing as an MIPS version of 2.9?
Thanks, I have looked at the Online Black Hole image update and it says "upgrade installed" I am trying to stick with the image as I spent a lot of time getting my camms and wifi adapter set-up. I need to get ABM up to date so that I can re-scan to pick up missing channels , e.g. main event on sports.
update to 3.1 using ipk files
scan starts working but bring back old problem . on hd channels AUDIO DESCRIPTION problem come back. pressing yellow button not find any ac3 .
revert back to save 3.0 backup and sound problem solved.
so my advise . if you got old version dont update to 3.1 .
