Best outcome for England would be for this Croatia Russia game going to extra time

No bitterness there pal, just honesty I never saw him until the 30th minute when he came for a short corner, but didn't get it.
Fortunately he did get into the game in the second half and we looked much better

Well that in my view was the second best outcome for England but they will be tired after that battle. If England play with a bit more belief in their ability i think they will beat Croatia. Its gonna be a cracker :)

Well, just popped up with an absolutely unmissable assist for Allis winning goal.
Credit where it’s due? [emoji23]

I thought Lingard played a very good game, you have to watch what players are doing off the ball, In my opinion the most unsung hero in yesterdays game was Sterling, he's off the ball runs and runs down the channels with ball terrified Sweden, OK would of been nice if he had scored but I will take a repeat performance from him against Croatia any day of the week (especially this wednesday lol)

Maybe I'm being bias, but to be honest I think the whole England team played brilliantly, and the best thing is I don't think we have peaked yet :)

I think you are pretty spot on with that although Croatia are a different class to anyone played so far (except Belgium) But i still think England have a great chance of winning. One thing i would like to see is if they do get beat on Wednesday is the supporters and the fannies in the media stay right behind the whole team and give them the great credit they deserve. They have ,for a young squad had a fantastic world cup. Its so refreshing to see the team spirit that has been lacking for many years. Again i will say well done Southgate and Team.

The issue with Sterling isn’t just his finishing, even though he couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo.
His decision making is woeful at times, he’s got space in the penalty area and his Captain and the deadliest finisher at the World Cup screaming to have the ball rolled in to his feet and what does Sterling do? He has a wild swipe at the goal (even though he knows he can’t finish a bowl of soup). England should have gone at least 2-0 at half time.
He was our worst rated player yesterday and has been for the entire tournament.
It’s not cost us yet but it just might do.

We’ve grown game by game in this tournament, even in defeat to the Belgians, which looking back was a mater stroke. That’s allowed us to gain the momentum that’s now with us, under far less pressure.
Don’t think we’ve seen the best from this young side yet, getting Sterling going is preferable but we will need to be clinical against better opposition. Think we will stick with him just to give us the continuity in the side. Hope we don’t regret it.

The point is whatever you think of Sterling, he is one of the fastest players we have who can run with the ball, had Sterling not been playing Sweden would not of been so worried at the back and would not have had to stay so deep so as to give their defenders an extra yard, as I said it would of been nice had he scored or even made a better decision when he took a swipe at it as you said, but make no mistake, without he's constant running at the Swedes it would of been a totally diferent game
