am using BH 1.7.3 and was wondering what you guys recommend in the BH or VTI etc or what else could you recommend,having problems with the duo and need to reflash it etc
whats best image for duo+ ???

bh is the one iv always been with its a good image other images will give you problems with ts panel plugin so be aware

am looking to put the latest image on my duo but tried it earlier and nothing happened just said starting for ages,so that was me bamboozled there lol no idea it wouldnt flash

You would need to say what security chip you have in your receiver if it is a clone.

its a v3 mate,got a different usb to try and flash new image never worked at all but when i put the back up that we did it goes back on the box with no problem.

still no luck johnny trying to put other BH image on changed to a different usb but nothing happens just says starting,have no idea.

is this openvix-3.0.710 you used mate..like the picons..might try vix again..
yes its vix 3.0 build 710 , i think by far vix is better then blackhole, the interface and features are better

thanks gonna try it..even if its just for the picons in the channel list...will bacup bh first lol..
its got autobouquetmaker built into vix 3.0 no scanning needed and can be auto updated, no point for Tspanel , the plugins menu in vix you can download and they all compatible quite alot of choice and its updated often, also tspanel messes the mounting up on vix , i have Tsmedia which can download from plugins menu but i find tsmedia not very reliable and quality is not great on stuff, got better source myself so dont really have need for tsmedia
never went back to blackhole after trying vix find it so much better
mate there is much more stuff , features over blackhole then just the picons
Picons are not dependent on image.
all images can have picons on infobar yes but not like the way vix can on channel list , row of picons

I have picons on usb stick that show up but how do u get picons to show in channel list like above ?...prefer to keep bh image...lol
pull up the channel list then hit menu > settings > show picons in service list = yes then green to save.
The best picons for this style of use are the ocram transparent ones from the feeds.

it is a v3.2 pheonix and the other one i got is running BH image aswell & going to run a tm600 in another room wish i could convert the 600 to an hd one
