Help flashin a Dm 600

hi, its a long time since i flashed a dreambox, about 2 years+ and just after some help in flashing a new img on it, hopefully enigma 2. the last time i did this i used a rs 232 lead direct from the pc.

i dont have any software anymore and cant remember the names so it looks like ill be starting from scratch.

Once i load an img will i need to put the settings in? i cant remember if you do or not?

Likewise , been a long time since I flashed one , but easiest way is to flash it using web interface ,just get its ip address

im currently doing the web interface, im on the flash page and when i press flash, nothing happens, been waiting around 15 mins

l couldn't get it to install on my 600 with web or dreamup ,, put back in the loft and put the dust back on it lol

On the DM800, I could not flash using firefox. Went OK with IE.

i got a 600 and i use the web interface,but one time it wouldnt flash using firefox
i ended up using ie and that worked

mine would upload to box but wouldnt flash from memory ,, so might of been a box problem

right it is flashed, now its asking which DISEqC config i need to choose? i have a motor dish with a quad LNB but the dream box only has one tuner. do i choose no DISEqc (direct connection to one lnb) cant be that as mine goes to motor first.

Simple (2 LNB's/ satelites)
or
Complex (inc DISEqC 1.2)

DM600 are still Enigma 1 boxes so flash them directly with null modem cable and DreamUP. There was some E2 images for them not sure how well they ran though I got rid of my DM600 2 years ago.

got it flashed now mate, cant use null cable as i laptop doesnt have the port, done it by ethernet but got a problem to what settings i need to choose in previous post

I thinks its Complex inc DisEqc m8 or else if there is a Multisat option use that

no matter what i choose the dreambox will not find satelite 28.2 although the IP Box will!!

have you tried a channel list on it?
Satellites.xml might not have 28.2e on it, unlikely but possible

what image you got I'm on pli jade with motorized dish
i go into settings/satellite transponders/rotor set up then put
longitude/latitude also put srgt flipflop bouquet and service in
and don't scan

getting no satelites and not getting power from the dreambox to motor, nothing coming up where the channels are suppose to be

lol, got darkstar II on, you think i should try the img you have.

tbh i only know how to put an img on, dont know how to do the rest

If its motorised then yes choose the complex option , remember to put it your lat and long , and try installing sgt flipflops enigma 1 bouquets , if you then get your programs on 28e you'll know your on the right track,
if your not going to use the motor just choose simple option , I've got a motorised system but only use 28e

my lat and lon of my current location? tbh i dont know how to install anything but the img. how do i do the bouquets?
