half price SKY tele codes

Do you know which of the ebay sellers can be trusted? xx_josef_xx, hartlepool.f.c?

Also, I see that some of the sellers say that to adhere to ebay policies they will post the codes out in the post. Is this normal?
 
Think the offer is running until 14 October 2010 so im sure something will pop up.
 
Yeah I hope so. I just bidded £40 for the voucher that cableguy posted and some other guy just outbid me within 5 minutes!
 
If anyone still has codes left near the cut off date i would gladly receive one (at cost unless that breaks forum rules)

I also welcome any advice on my situation. In March this year I got a code which worked perfect only for circumstances to inhibit installation( 6 times over 3 months).I was told i would get 2 months free for my hassle and was told to put up a pole for the dish. I thought everything was sorted when my flat received a communial aeriel but sky said the account was closed on the day the girl gave me advice on the pole! Lost the account with free months cancelled and code was by this time out of date even though i initally signed up in March.

I hoped this promo would be on again and I thought it would be about this time. I was very kindly given a code a couple of weeks ago and it worked, guys came out to install but didn't have enough points to install multiroom so sky cancelled the whole order.

I thought the obvious thing to do was just install the one box for me then but they said no cant do. I got a call and they cancelled the account and said sign up again.

I signed up again online but got a call saying code was already used - yes by me I said but to no avail, was told to get another code.

I'm tearing my hair out over this, spent over £40 in phone calls to sky's premium helpline but i'm sent from pillar to post and still not any further on.

I dont want to buy from ebay where I see there are negative comments about already used codes and would gladly work something out here if possible.

I can gurantee this will not be used on ebay by sending previous correspondance from sky on my situation , the online confirmation email, letter from sky detailing installation, even viewing card number to code supplier to prove I am using it for my own home if this helps

Just me again folks. We'll be getting our install this weekend, and this morning I started thinking about getting a cheaper multi-room setup.

I don't want full multi-room, but was thinking is it possible to run a coax from the sky box to the upstairs tele? If so, can someone answer these questions?

1) Will the Sky Engineer run the cable if we ask him when he comes to fit the box? The bedroom is directly above the living room to the cable will surely just need to go out, up the wall, and straight back in - nothing complicated like throwing it over the roof.

2) If so, will the Sky Engineer have the required cable etc, or will I need to buy this myself ready for him?

3) What would the Sky Engineer charge for this additional installation?

I'm not looking for an extra Sky remote or anything, just the cable and the actual labour of the engineer to fit it.

Any advice extremely appreciated.

he may charge more just offer to give a bit of dough in is pocket im sure hell help ya out

i think your case is very complex for sky dfo you not have cable available there instead?
 
hello everyone, just to clarify there are no codes here and nobody has spare codes lying around at all there was one code but it got over used about a week ago they only way to get one I believe is to pay for one on ebay, many thanks

I managed to get a Sky code off ebay for £20 and it was money well spent!

Initally I bidded around £40 for the item that thecableguy posted then I found another item afterwards for £20 which was 'Buy It Now'. I bought the £20 one instead!

Code was emailed within the hour. The sellers ebay name is 'wizzkiddy'

Thank god I got this item for £20, and someone outbidded me, cos that item sold for £130!!!

I'm now getting my Sky installed on the 14th October! Happy days!!

there just gunna say its already been used i think mate, thats what happened to me 1st time, just cancelled it!

nice 1 mate, but out of curiosity why didnt ya go for the ful package for 25.50. obviously more of a saving for better choice!

I'm thinking that now, but made the decision based on that I didn't watch movies/sports on virgin. I'm not a sports fan and I download my movies...
