removing paint

anyone know how to remove gloss paint of uPVC window frame on the inside of the house. the paint is on the edge of the frame near the wood, it must have got painted when the wooden frame was painted.

I heard that vinegar can remove gloss paint - anyone tried this.

you can actually get upvc cleaner mate, it is very good and will get anything off
