3G Dongle Pay As You Go For Free Just Pay £4.95 P+P

ok guys, gonna ask a silly question and probably get slated lol!!
got me o2 sim and as ive never used a payg....how do i go about for a top-up/activating it?
what do i ask at the shop - give them sim mobile number or just ask for £10 o2 top up - anything i need to take with me?
once i have top-up what do i need to do to activate?

ive just got my o2 sim do i just top it up to activate it ive not had a pay and go for about 10 yrs lol theres some stuff in the instructions that say i need to plug my iphone into itunes where obviously i cant do that, cheers.

i just toped it up online mate and it activated i actually got a txt through allthough it does say that it can takes upto 24hrs to activate the the web bolt on but it will be done automatically i signed up on there site to so i can check credit and the bolt isnt showing there yet, this is the speed im getting now allthough it does seem faster hopefully when the bolt is active it will be quicker,


the tariff its showing at the moment is PAY & GO - TALKALOT

i used the top-up card that came with, by putting £10 worth. the sim is the dongle which is connected but can't seem to connect to internet. don't have an iphone so not sure how i would get txt! you got a link to site i can check? what config setting s are using? thanks

check madnlooneys post on page 11 are you tying to use the 3 software that came with the dongle mate? you will recieve the txt's through the computer mate

i'm using another software called Telstra connection manager, i can connect ok and receive txt from my moby but can't send/reply txt or connect to web.
i'm using the settings... O2(pre-pay) payandgo.o2.co.uk payandgo payandgo

try the software posted earlier in the thread mate see if that sorts it thats what im using with the same details as you.

tried that, it didn't work as i used a different method to unlock the dongle and have to use telstra connection manager. did you register to your account online?

hey guys, after trawling the web i came acrosss the software in the link that allowed me to unlock/flash my dongle ZTE MF626 for free....:Clap:

yeah mate exactly the same but i put £10 on but ive got £11.24 credit i got extra as a top up thing or something i just downloaded at least a meg which should be £1 but my credit as not changed so im assuming the free web bolt is working but it still says i have no bolt-ons on there site when i sign in

thanks mate, strange why for me its not showing £10 balance! i'll wait till tomorrow to see if it works otherwise will go back to the shop where i got top-up!
