been away for a bit what has gone wrong confused

Modshack was closed down and legal action brought against the owners so the cable sections here have been removed until further notice, hopefully they bring them back

That was my first thought, that this was just another one of those "PM scams" where we get everyone to PM a mod/admin regarding a particular issue (Remember Rat and the DW security nonsense?).

However, having spoken to Bro, he assures me that it is no wind-up and it's all genuine so fingers crossed he isn't spinning me rubbishroud:

If the cable section does return, ( it was well known to be the best on the net by far |) and has limited people allowed in then i am sure it will be even better without the long time members with very few posts only visiting when a major keyroll happens wanting back there free tv.

Never said newcomers m8, i said long time members with few posts who never visit or post untill something major happens and they lose there free tv.

On the subject of newcomers, we were all new to cable once, but there are some who will search the forum for the solution to there problem and only post if they cant find the answer and there are the newbies who just ask so you get the same questions over and over and i fail to see how the latter contribute to a forum imo.

I didn't think they had posted a criteria for selecting people ?
I would assume it would be a mix of people.

I'm going to wait until it is open to everyone myself, don't want to get to into it as being a pessimist I think that someone will abuse it and get the section closed the next time the cc's play around.

People come people go, been that way for years but guess what, we are still here stronger than ever.
