can you help me find best 1TB SATA drive for laptop

Hi all,

Looking for a 1TB drive for my laptop or 500GB min. 2.5" in size. I have the cage bit for it and the connector adaptor for my laptop so just need the drive it self now

As always looking for quality and good price will be used for music, films, uni work etc. Just a store... wont have any operating system on this drive at all.

As for 500gb, it may be better and more economical to get 2x 250gb hdds, that way you could store music on one and films on the other.

500gb are still pricey but a 250gb can be got for about £50.

Only got one spare bay mate dont want external drive either

After a quick look the cheapest I saw was £104 for 500gb but that was an external but just a matter of taking it out of caddy. For cost the 320gb may be better value at the minute at approx £60

I think there are 1tb 2.5" SATA drives for laptops, but if I recall correctly they are not quite out on the market yet. I think I read a report on the register about them.
