Hi need a bit of advice getting l/room and bed room carpeted soon but i got a price for underlay from the carpet place and for 3 rolls it was £190 so i said i`ll get my own anyone know were to get and is there certain ones to go for
oh forgot i need gripers too

Don't skimp on cheap underlay for high traffic areas(living room)puting a cheap underlay down will only cause the carpet to sink in places over time and spoil the look of your new carpet.
Smooth edge(gripper)is the way to go, easy to lift the carpet to run hifi cables etc at a later date.
 
cheers lads i noticed that there is a lot of underlay on flee bay anyone know what type to go for there is rubber ones and felt ones i`m clueless

The links for the underlays are really good prices,I would go for the rubber ones and the Tredair Elite at 36+ vat :)
I paid for good quality and had 2 carpet lives out of it due to change carpet this year so will see what condition it is and change if ness..
