DigitalWorldz insists that all members follow these rules:

  1. DigitalWorldz is free to join. Premium membership is available, but by no means a requirement to use the site.
  2. Posts about religion and politics are no longer allowed. Threads about other contentious subjects should be posted in General Chat and marked with the "Sensible Topic" prefix. These posts may be heavily moderated, closed or removed without warning.
  3. Links:
    • We do not allow links to similar forums. References may be permitted, based on the context of the thread, but this is at the discretion of the forum staff.
    • Affiliate links, including but not limited to referral links and pay-per-download schemes, are not permitted. Anyone found using such systems will be warned in the first instance, and banned for any further attempts at posting them.
  4. Dealers/resellers are not welcome. Any attempt advertising will be removed. This includes, but is not limited to; user names, signatures, home pages, and posts.
    • Members can ask where to buy satellite/cable/IPTV equipment (boxes, dishes, tuner cards etc); however, any reply must be via the conversation system - irrespective of the thread's location. Any links posted within the forums will be removed.
    • Members receiving unsolicited direct messages with links to any retailer, not just satellite, cable or IPTV equipment sellers, are encouraged to report them to staff. Please use the "report" link, which is at the bottom of all conversations and posts.
  5. Trades between members are at their own risk. The forum, and its staff, cannot be held responsible for any trade. Further rules are in the classifieds section.
  6. We do not allow the sale of, requests for, or links to illegal services, drugs (illicit or otherwise), or other prohibited goods and products.
  7. In line with rule 6; members are not permitted to ask about obtaining clines, IPTV servers, or other such services. These posts will be removed, and staff will issue an infraction at their discretion.
  8. The posting of software cracks, hacks, codes, serial numbers and/or keygens is not permitted. Similarly links to warez, copyrighted torrents, or other illegal files are not allowed.
  9. With the exception of the adult room, links to sites of an adult and/or pornographic nature are not permitted. The use of adult material in avatars, signatures and/or image attachments is prohibited anywhere on the site.
  10. Members believed to be trolling, thread spoiling, or on wind-up campaigns will receive an infraction, and potentially a ban. Members will be banned for personal attacks; including, but not limited to: racial abuse, defamation, axe grinding, and threatening behaviour.
  11. Social engineering, whether aimed at DigitalWorldz, one of its members, or even another site, will result in a ban.
  12. To prevent dead links, rather than posting links to downloads on other sites, members are asked to upload files to DigitalWorldz. (File limit is 100Mb.)
  13. Post clocking is actively monitored on DW. For further information on our post clocking policy please see this thread.
  14. Each forum may have additional rules. Please, make sure you check the stickies at the top of each room.
These rules should be abided by at all times. Any member, regardless of their standing, that fails to observe these rules when posting can expect to receive a warning, infraction, or, in certain circumstances, a ban.

Our automatic ban system triggers at the following infraction point levels:
85 points = 1 day ban.​
130 points = 2 day ban.​
300 points = 5 day ban.​
400 points = 7 day ban.​
500 points = Perm ban.​

Any posts that the Admin or Mods think are unsuitable, or break any of the rules, can, and will, be edited or removed without notice or reason.

All staff decisions are final.
