Where to add clines details for Enigma on Amiko Alien 2

Hi,

I'm trying to find out where to add my clines details on a Amiko Alien 2 running Enigma.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My box has Spark & Enigma loaded on it, I did copy an oscam on to to get Spark running.

Do I need to do another for Enigma aswel then?

hi guys looks like i may be having the same problem with the clines too. i have tried to put the plugin tools for enigma onto a 320gb hard drive formatted to fat 32 but keep getting the error "no media displable for this medium". i have als tried a 8gb usb stick but same error. i am famililiar with dcc. is there any chance you could give me a walthrough or point me to one. i have been searching the net for days but have struggled, just finding somewhere to down load the plugins has been a nightmare. i need to know what i plugin i need to install, where i get it from and then using DCC what the path is for the newcamd and then do i have to activate a plugin to start the line

What image are you using some images have the keys folder in var and some in usr, the keys folder is where you put the file with your line details in depending on the emu you use this could be oscam.server file or newcamd.list or camd.list.

True SH4 based receivers don't have CCcam but for oscam you would use the oscam.server file but with mgcamd you would use camd.list for c lines and newcamd.list for n lines.

In E2 you still have to load the emu on your box navigate to plugins and green to install plugin then look in softcam you should find several compatible emu's depending on the image you might have to install the emu in 2 parts, emu it self and the configuration. But if your oscam.server file works in spark then you can save that and use that in the E2 image when oscam has been installed

Ok I have created an oscam file, and sent it to usr/keys/oscam_atv_emu using cams conversion tool by mfaraj57 but still no dice

Firstly I used the CCcam to oscam convertor I uploaded make sure you press the c or n line tab before converting it to oscam.server file depending on the line you have.

Now ftp the oscam.server file into usr/keys/oscam_atv_emu folder now if there is a dvb.api file in there then delete it if you are only using 28.2e.

Now on your box go to $ channel then with remote press menu>info>softcam manager select your cam as oscam then green button to start hopefully the channel will clear.

still not working i have cam 1 as oscam atv emu 1.2.10002, i press green button but it says no cam 1 active no cam 2 active no ecm info

i just cannot get the cams to start, am i doing something wrong

Double check the details of your line make sure your server has activated the line. One last thing menu>info>softcam config I am not sure of the exact name, set the cam starter from the default python to init.d

Also did you delete the dvb.api from the usr>keys>oscamatv folder? dvb.api is for German cards and sometimes stops oscam working properly when you are just on 28.2e.

hi i have gone through that. here are my steps just to make sure im doing it right.
i have converted and N:line using cccam2oscam then save the server file.
i have installed oscam_atv and ftp the server file i have created and overwritten the file thats in there
i have deleted the dvp.api file
i have gone to ts panel then soft cam and started oscam_cccam_2.1.3 (i have also tried this without activating this cam)
i have then gone to info panel/softcam panel setup and changed to init file
i have then gone to soft cam panel and select oscam_atv 1.2 10002 then start but still get no cam 1 active etc

Is there a better image for the enigma2 amiko 2+ that is easier to use? if so wheer would i get the image and how do i install it, do i need rs232

Thanks for the above info, just tried it and it now works for me.

I just need to get an up to date channel list now.

Morph openatv is a good image the only thing wrong with it is if you use the online update, something breaks inside the image. I would recommend as altwrnative hdmu or pkt images.

Kesh if you are using hdmu there will be autobouquet plugin in the service searching menu set it to your region SD because most of HD doesn't work and start it, the bouquets created are like sky and the channel numbering is the same. If using openatv same as above but will be autobouquetmaker set your provider as skyzzl I think select your region then scan. (Bouquets=channel list).

As a similar but more UK specific use the VIX4E2PROJECT image, download the OScam ymod softcam direct from the plugin server, set the cam as your default in the Softcam manager and start it.

Now simply use the OScam webif to edit the premade example(s) (http://ipofreceiver:8888) save the changes and restart OScam.

No need to worry about converters, FTP or IPKs this way and much more tailored to the UK market out the box so to speak.

Your issue at the moment is you are trying to run a mips file on an SH4 based receiver, hence the reason it won't start the softcam.

You need to load the OpenATV SH4 addon (not the mips one) if you want working softcams available for download, or as mentioned you could give the VIX4E2PROJECT image a run which is probably more tailored to your needs.

AllAll the images have same functionality downloading cams and using webif but this image is not supported by the vixs team and you will not get support from them it is a well known sat retailers modded image and comes bloated with plugins. But still useful when starting out and don't even think of doing a update through the image.

Morph are you using MIPS based openatv oscam if so lavaman is correct.
I am writing from my phone at the mo so if you need it I will upload softcam feed ipk so you can download oscam from the image servers and you will be sure of compatibility.
