how can i get my freeview hd channels?

just got a tv with freeview hd built in but when i do an auto tune it just comes up with all the freeview sd channels :grayno:

is there any way i can add the hd channels manually?

think i'm getting my signal from sandy heath.

HD channels start from Channel 50 mate
50 BBC1
51 ITVHD
and so on

see if they are there mate

They have to first cater for the SD Beast Benders viewers who's only concern is to see who's screaming at who on the night.
The soap-brains wouldn't be happy if their reception diminished because their aerials couldn't pull in the higher frequencies without significant loss.

The powers that be, probably also figure that anyone who can afford an HD tv can afford a longer and thinner Yagi too.

That advice will be £120 please. ;-)

Plus the HD Channels aren't the regional versions yet - which is the main reason i hard ever watch them!

its only regional news thats not available isnt it? And thats only BBC1 (HD)

or am I wrong ?
