I think it may be an image issue as it says no hd found or is not initialised?

but it shows it on cross epg

So have you tried to initialise it in the HDD menu or is the hdd menu under setup not showing ?

yes it said it had initialised but still the same

Try this in telnet then see if device manager see it

umount /media/sda1
mount /dev/sda1 /hdd

ah it green screens when I try record but maybe I have put too much on this image now?

Before doing that make sure there is a movie folder at media/hdd

FTP in and check if not make one mate.
