Does anyone use and android tablet for android auto.

As per title, bought a cheap tablet to mainly use for navigation in the van bt be able to take when working away for watching movies. I know It uses my phones data bt I get unlimited so use thought I'd give it a go. Was just wondering if someone has tried beofe. Tia guys

Never had a problem using mine where ever I was, but I also had a large SD card installed with movies/music when in areas that struggled on signal....
