Sky Blackhole Skin By Fraggle121

Hey everyone new to the forums but have been around vu+ for a fair while, something thats always requested is the sky (format) skin for the vu, now due to copyright infringement the blackhole developers wont do it, but someone has developed a skin that works pretty well. the link is below

how to install
the file from the folder go to


the renders and the converters go in the following usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/ u will see the render and converter folder place the files in the corect folders.

the Sky Blackhole folder goes into /usr/share/enigma2/

the fonts files gointo /usr/share/fonts/


the picons on my box goes in to the /usr/share/enigma2/ folder

Dont thank me bud, fraggle121's hard work, works well but some areas still need updating ,anymore updates ill post here.

It's not called sky blue hd.
its called sky blackhole

Blue hd is a vix skin by rossi
pls pls don't call it somthing it is not.

The only screens that have not been done are some of the settings.
All the menus channel select graphic epg infobars plugin cams screens are done.
The main screens for viewing tv are complete and done.

The screens that have not been done has had there colours changed to match the sky look.
so u will not really notice the none skin screens.

Could admin kindly edit the title to this thread to sky blackhole and not blue hd as they are 2 different skins.
and this skin has nothing whatsoever to do with blue hd,

It's no problem m8.
its just the name u called it was a name of a skin by a person I hate and they feel the same way about me.

the screenshots look cool...wonder if it will work with openpli image ?...better back up my image first lol...

also do you leave the Fonts and Renderers folders already in the blackhole image or replace them with the one in your files..?

No it's not for open pli however if u look up sky.new skin on Google u will find the pli version.

This skin is based on that version by chababu .

The converters and renderer and fonts are supplied with this blackhole skin u will need to add them for it to work.

Here's a updated version this is skin folder only
u will need to use the Fonts and picons and Renderer and converters from the first posted skin.

Put the sky blackhole folder in usr share enigma2 ..
Here's another screen shot this is the graphic standerd graphic epg guide not cool guide.

Time shift screen has been redone now has icons inside sky ring logo.
I just need to sort icons out on movie player infobar next.





I've also added icons to movie player infobar.
I did not find a skin with icons on movie player but I found the code for timeshift icons worked on movie player.
Here's a pic hope yer like it.

I have tried install thison the latest blackhole image, And older blackhole images.
When I install this skin, I get a software issue and the box crashes. I am installing the blackhole image from a memory stick and then ftp the skin into the correct folders. When I go to switch the skin to active I get a software issue with a green background. I have to then reinstall the image for it to work again. But I cannot get the skin to work.

Try the attached ipk file.

It still gave me the error when I ran that Ipk file. Is this for black hole vu+ duo images.

Read instructions again, you may have moved a folder over instead of moving the files in the folder, had the same issue first time I installed because of this.
