Not entirely correct on the OpenATV image all Lines go into /usr/key folder

yes depends on what image you are running mate plus the set up is different dependent on the cam your using.
I associate en with mcgamd so different set up to ccam but you can use ccam 2.3.0 with en also.
FTP info goes into openvix=ETC openATV =usr/keys.

'N' line normally referred to as a newcamd line most popular use on Enigma2 receiver would be MGcamd once installed you place 'N' line int the newcamd.list located in /usr/keys folder replacing the 'N:' part with 'CWS = '

'C' can also be used in MGcamd emulator by placing line as normal in the cccamd.list file and changing option G: inside mg_cfg to G: {33}
